Wily's Ruff, Tail

Our friend Doug, who had not seen Wily in quite some time, said, "What happened to her tail?" What was once a fine plume is now a skimpy tattered rat-tail. But her ruff has gotten bigger. It's as if her fur has migrated north for the winter of her life. As a young dog she looked like a cheerleader wagging a pom pom. Shoulders were sleek, though. Even in her middle age, the ruff was nothing like this mane she now wears.
