2005 Reunion - Alumnae Parade
I don’t like parades, but I am always moved by this one, most of all by the oldest classes, whose dignity and courage I find so inspiring, but also by my own middle-aged class and nearby cohorts, a little silly-looking with our placards and our matching costumes, and by the youngest women, who are so beautiful they make my heart ache. The gifts and speeches culminate in the State of the College address by our wonderful president.
