Mulligatawny Soup
Basically, a curried chicken soup with apples and potatoes.

Onions or shallots, finely chopped |
Boil the chicken until the meat is tender and stock is well reduced. Fish out chicken, remove meat from bones and return it to the soup. Saute the onions in peanut oil. Add the garlic and cook 1-2 mins. Stir in curry spices,and cook 1-2 mins. Add chicken soup, potatoes, apples and boil until apples and potatoes are cooked. Thicken by mixing flour and milk.
