Garden Noodles

A very good side with steak, veal, or lamb chops.

Plate

Fresh herbs
Pasta

Heat olive oil and a little butter in a saute pan. On very low heat, cook minced garlic for just a moment or two. Add cooked, drained spaghetti noodles and fresh herbs such as oregano, rosemary, tarragon, sage, thyme, parsley, or chives. Add salt and pepper to taste. Shut off the heat and mix well. You can also toss in a bit of grated Parmesan cheese. You can add a little bit of finely chopped garden pepper or shallot in the beginning, or even a cherry tomato or two, but it's best to let it be predominantly a side of plain pasta with the flavors of olive oil and herbs.
