Paseo del Prado
In the central part of the city where we spent almost all our time, Madrid offers three world-class art collections - the Prado, the Reina Sophia and the Thyssen-Bournemisza - all within less than a one-mile stretch along the lovely Paseo del Prado.
The botanical garden and the Parque del Retiro both also lie along this same broad and picturesque divided boulevard.
