Madrid
Madrid was all about the art, for us. But of course you can't take pictures of that. The city itself is a beautiful subject for pictures, though.
We explored the old part of Madrid on the first day, following the Calle de las Huertas to the very large square called the Plaza Mayor (2 and 3), and looping around to the Plaza de los Cibeles and its much photographed fountain at the far end of the Paseo del Prado.
