England
We spent ten days in London, visiting the National Gallery and other museums, Saint Paul's Cathedral, the Tower and of course the Crown Jewels. We had the best dinner ever at an African restaurant called Calabash. But the only time we took pictures was on a damp and cold November day, when we visited the gardens at Kew.

For us, Kew was the highpoint of the trip.
I was especially taken with the grass beds, whose colors were beautiful
in late fall. Note for scale the rail in the picture of the water
lilies. Yes, they are that big.
The picture on the left was taken inside the Princess of Wales greenhouse.
We stayed in Peter Pan's house on Hampstead
Heath. It was a large square house of red brick, and we were on the top floor,
in a dormered bedroom with all of London laid out below us in lights at the end of each day.
The last night we saw fireworks from the window of our hotel room. Why? It was Guy Fawke's
Day.
